Fourteen abducted students of Greenfield University in Kaduna State have been released.
The students were released on Saturday afternoon at a location along Kaduna- Abuja highway.
According to reports, the parents of the abducted students said they paid ransom, in addition to providing eight new motorcycles to the kidnappers before they agreed to release their children.
Recall that the armed bandits invaded the Greenfield University campus at Kasarami village along Kaduna-Abuja highway on 20th April, 2021 and kidnapped Students.
Shortly after the abduction, five of the students were killed after the parents, school management and government failed to raise the N800m ransom demanded.
